2013年末・2014年2月までの活動！

Hello everyone,

Did you have a good new year holiday? We certainly did. Here are the activities we had for the end of 2013 and the start of 2014!

December 30th: Lunch @ 吉品香东北菜馆

家常凉拌菜

溜肥肠

We went to 吉品香东北菜馆, near Chinese Garden MRT station for lunch.

The food is of a more traditional Chinese style, different from what you can find locally in Singapore. The food is affordable and delicious. We especially recommend the cold salad!

January 31st: ボランティア @ Willing Hearts

We went to Willing Hearts to Volunteer on the first day of Chinese New Year (CNY) because we figured that people would be too busy to volunteer on that day. So off we went!

Volunteering was an empowering experience. We worked as a team with more than 50 people. There were no instructions, the person-in-charge just said to us "Help out however you can".
As you can see, we still managed to have fun while we worked!





Our student, in grey, actually had a chance to practice her English skills with a Russian friend!













February 7th: Lunch @ Korean BBQ

We went to a Korean BBQ place opposite Haw Par Villa today. 

We ordered the set meal for three, but shared it with six people! What a steal!
